The summer heat can present a challenge in the quest for wines that provide a refreshing pause. Lets start with the food. Summer is time for backyard cookouts and getting together down by the water. Fresh fish, shrimp and crabs are always a tasty entree for any menu. Let’s look at some wines that will make them even more enjoyable. In general balancing the weight of the food to that of the wine is a good first step in your search for the perfect combination. Of course, as always, rule number one is eat and drink what you enjoy!
