Homearama is a 16-day single-site display of fully furnished and landscaped custom showcase homes. They demonstrate the latest in home construction, design, furnishings and technological innovations. It is produced by Home Builders Association of Richmond (HBAR). This year, 6 homes will be on display. The theme is "101 Great New Ideas For Your Home."

The event is at Patriots Landing in New Kent County, developed by East West Partners. Patriots Landing is a planned community located in historic New Kent County, just 15 minutes from downtown Richmond. It features architecturally distinctive Craftsman style homes in a serene, bucolic setting bordering 4 lakes which are ideal for fishing and kayaking. The Residents Club offers a beach entry pool, putting green, boat dock, bocce court, and beautiful clubhouse which hosts countless year-round activities for all ages. Paved trails and sidewalks connect neighbors with the parks, playgrounds, Fitness Center, Bloom grocery, and the amenities.

Homearama 2010 at Patriots Landing will be open Septemeber 18-October 3, 2010, noon until 9 p.m., daily. Tickets will stop two hours before closing.

Admission is $10 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Cash only. There will be cash and carry sales too.
